When our founder's wife passed away, they found themselves sitting at the kitchen table surrounded by paperwork, with no idea where to begin. I built the tool I desperately needed when I was adminstering an estate, I was grieving and no idea what to do next.
After losing his wife and spending months navigating estate administration, Stephen - a software engineer - realised the process wasn't fundamentally complicated. It was just poorly supported. Banks required the same letter written six different ways. Forms asked for values that had to be calculated manually from other forms. Every step felt like a puzzle with pieces scattered across government websites.
